It's the best pizza place in the area, hands down. The staff is very friendly and polite. I recommend Vesuvius to any pizza lover.

I called ahead for a pizza and sandwiches. It was delicious, great portions. I’d recommend a white pizza with broccoli and chicken with honey hot, the chicken parm sub and Caesar wrap toasted!! It was exceptional. The cashiers were very polite and helpful when placing my order and during pick up. Sad they don’t do Apple Pay but overall 10/10

Good little pizza place and subs got a north end and it was delicious. Service was right on very friendly and helpful. Casual dining with plenty of room and clean.

Love the food at this place, particularly the Buffalo Chicken pizza, North End pizza, and chicken parm sub. If you are looking for warm, friendly service, this is not the place. I've been going to Vesuvius in Marblehead and Cindys in Swampscott, both owned by the same family, for years. I don't think I've ever received decent service, or heard them say a decent word about anyone. I rationalize it by telling myself it's like the old Durgin Park where the waitresses were intentionally rude, plus the pizza is great. Don't do anything unusual, do not order online, do not get it delivered, do not eat in, and get in and out as fast as you can before you hear one of them being nasty.

It’s a nice restaurant located conveniently on a main road intersection, with a free parking lot. Pleasant interior decor, comfortable seating, clean restrooms. I was able to sit quietly and work on my laptop in the evening (there are no outlets but there is WiFi). I wanted to rate it 5 stars but the Aphrodite sandwich was disappointing, pretty tasteless, with no veggies, on dry bread. The service was good but could be better if they serve water in cups, for people who do not want to buy bottled. the prices were somewhat higher than comparable restaurants. Good experience overall.
